Jeanie Marie Buss has been an American Entrepreneur for more than 20 years. She is the owner and the president of Los Angeles Lakers National Basketball Association. Buss is an California born and raised in an affluent family. The father of her Jerry Buss was a real-estate tycoon who later became the proprietor of the Lakers and other sports businesses. The emotional strain she felt was exacerbated when her parents separated in 1972. When she was 19 years old she was able to take over her role as General Manager of the Los Angeles Strings professional Tennis team as General Manager. After that, she established in the Los Angeles Blades team of professional roller hockey. She was the president of Great Western Forum prior to being elected vice-president of the Lakers. Buss as well as her five sisters were heirs to the Lakers control following the passing of Buss' father in 2013. Each sister had an equal voice. Buss was elected in 2013 to take over the presidency for the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss also owns Women of Wrestling, a professional promotion of wrestling with its headquarters at Los Angeles.
