Aaliyah Dana Haughton and Aarti Mann

Aaliyah Haughton made headlines in 1994 when she released her first album Age Ain't Nothing but an amount. Her album, which was released when she only had 15 years of age was certified Gold. It was made as an album that was heavily inspired by R. Kelly and it put the singer in the spotlight. In 1996 Jermaine and Timbaland made Aaliyah's album One In A Million. It contained If Your Girls Only Knew, the most-sold single. Aaliyah achieved international recognition for her R&B vocals through the release of this album. She was also in Romeo Must Die, a action/romance film starring Jet-Li. Joel Silver, a film producer at an award ceremony when she got the role was able to spot her. Queen of the Damned was her first role in 2002. The story is based on an Anne Rice novel. The Matrix Sequels was her first role in The Matrix Sequels. She has also been in The Matrix Reloaded (2003) as well as The Matrix Revolutions (2007). In 2001, 1999, 2002, and 2003 she was nominated to win four Grammy Awards. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. She is from Indian descent and was born in Connecticut. Mann is the abbreviation used for her married first name Mankad. Aarti uses both Aarti Majumdar and Aarti Munn as her professional names. Though she initially had minor film and TV performances, her acting began becoming more popular in the middle of 2000s. Her other noteworthy works include Leverage 2012, Suits 2013, and Grey's Anatomy 2017. She has appeared in numerous commercials for Volvo's international automobile maker. She lives within Los Angeles with her husband and daughter. She continues to pursue her acting career.
